Five Guys, Covent Garden

Five Guys, Covent Garden

There has been a huge queue outside Five Guys since it opened a couple of months back. One day I met my fiancé for lunch and we were wondering around and saw there was no queue so we popped in. It is quiet expensive for something that is a step up from McDonald’s; I had a little cheese burger with lettuce and relish (£5.50), cajun fries regular (£4 – more than enough for 2 people it was HUGE! Little fries are £2.75) and a Diet Coke (£2.50). The coke was refillable from a vending machine that you help yourself to. It had so many choices of drink and flavours it was hard to choose – some of the flavours I had never seen before. The burger was very nice, the relish was pickle based which was a surprise but very nice and the chips were delicious. They could do with looking at their fixtures and fittings, it looks a bit cheap considering the price. Overall I would say a nice treat but not for all the time. www.fiveguys.co.uk Five Guys, Covent Garden, 1-3 Long Acre, London WC2E 9LH
